Pendleton

A true icon in American fashion, Pendleton is. It makes me think plaid, good plaid. I'm a sucker for plaid, always will be. It began when Clarence Morton Bishop (C.M. Bishop) boarded the bandwagon that is the working man's shirt, the wool shirt. He strongly urged the use of colorful plaids in the Pendleton design, and so it was born, the plaid wool shirt. In due time the Pendleton Woolen Mills was producing a full line of wool menswear and wool womenswear a decade later . Pendleton thrived, mastering all of the finest fabrics with their clothing production. An enterprise was born.

When I find Pendleton thrifting, wether it be vintage or a few years old, I buy.
